Spring's Color Trends: Buttercup Yellow

Unless you've been living under a rock you already know that the color yellow represents happiness, sunshine, optimism, and Spring of course! - BTW... it also represents pee, (just saying).

Anyway, I happen to be very extreme with mostly everything in my life; I either love it or hate it, I'm quiet or super loud, red lips or nothing at all, and on any given day I'll wear head-to-toe black or not so mellow yellow just because.  Come to think of it, it might be that I'm borderline bi-polar... thanks mom! With that said, today it all comes down to the bright yellow pieces I'm wearing in the pictures above.

The best part about editing my outfit is that I already owned all the pieces to it except for the pants I bought at Zara on sale - but (sold out) a couple of months ago. I didn't know what I would end up wearing them the first time I did, but my look synced perfectly with a yellow suede jacket, light-weight gray window pane coat and white Topshop blouse that I have already worn a handful of times.

The coolest part was that I didn't even have to put much thought into it except for the part when I did think about it for a minute, then overthought about it for another two minutes and finally came to the conclusion that I really didn't mind representing a giant walking traffic signal or having random people confuse me for a taxi.

What I like most about it is that every piece is lightweight, perfect for Spring and each piece layers perfectly with each other; mix it with a bright yellow and it equals to instant happiness!

So what do you think? Do you prefer dressing in neutrals, brights or a combo between the two? x0x0-Faby
